How Public Spaces Make Cities Work

I enjoyed listening to this TED Talk, where Amanda Burden speaks about public spaces in cities and their development. Not only is she an eloquent and engaging speaker, but she accomplished some beautiful spaces in New York City.

This to me is a very relevant talk as the Town of Franklin is discussing what should happen with the space at 150 Emmons Street and many residents of Franklin came to speak to the Town Council just this past week.
