The Franklin and Bellingham Rail Trail Committee (FBRTC) members had a lot to cover during the last night's meeting.

 Coming up this Saturday 4/12/14 is the Spring Clean Up of the Franklin Bellingham Rail Trail. Please join us at 8:30am at the Grove Street (Franklin) trailhead. Bring gloves and a great attitude to help get your local walking trail in better shape for this summer and those to come. Hope to see you all there!

Come to the Franklin Public Library (Community Room) on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 7pm to learn more about Rails to Trails and Rails WITH Trails projects in Southern New England: How we got here and where we're going. Presenter Craig Della Penna is the Executive Director of Northeast Greenway Solutions. You can register for this event HERE.

The road race committee is busy planning and ironing out all the details for the biggest fundraiser of the year - the 4th Annual Road Race (1 or 3 mile walk and 5K run). T-shirts available for first 100 registrants. DATE: Saturday, May 3rd, 2014. TIME: Run @10am, walk @ 9:45am. PLACE: 431 Washington Street, Franklin, MA.  Register HERE.
